Briefly about feather cleaning
The process of feather cleaning:
First, the machine removes dust, broken feather shafts, and other particulate impurities from the dirty, broken, and compressed feathers.
Then the feathers are placed in a heat chamber, where they are steam-washed at high temperatures. Together with the steam, the surface-active organic feather detergent from the German company CHT chemistry cleans, disinfects, and scents the feathers.
Finally, drying follows, where the feathers regain their original elasticity and wait, fresh and clean, to finally be put back into the quilts and pillows that have been cleaned in the meantime or made from new down.

For your benefit, we only fill duvets with high-quality, light downy goose feathers, half down, or down. If your feather waiting to be cleaned is not of this type, we recommend that you only use it to make pillows.
